Jordan is a highly skilled and experienced attorney whose primary expertise is as a transactional and business counsel representing clients in the oil services and energy technologies industries, but has counseled start-ups, entrepreneurs, investors, private equity-backed ventures and growth stage portfolio companies. With a deep understanding of the oil services and energy technology sectors and the legal landscape surrounding these sectors, Jordan provides comprehensive legal counsel to a diverse range of sector-specific clients on a global scale. 

Having represented clients in more than 30 countries, Jordan possesses a global perspective and an ability to navigate and structure complex international legal frameworks and is adept at advising clients on cross-border and multi-cultural transactions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations while maximizing opportunities for growth and expansion.

Beyond his legal expertise, Jordan is known for his exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients taking the time to understand each client’s unique needs and objectives, tailoring their legal strategies to align with their clients' business goals. Jordan is actively involved in industry associations and organizations related to the oil services and energy technologies sectors to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and regulatory developments, ensuring that clients receive the most up-to-date and relevant legal advice.

Before starting Range Counselors, Jordan worked as in-house counsel for a publicly traded international land and offshore drilling contractor, as General Counsel of a private equity backed oil equipment venture, was based in Cape Town, South Africa as Regional General Counsel for one of the world’s largest oilfield service manufacturers and service providers before entering into private practice where he acts as outside general counsel to oil service companies, oilfield manufacturers, oil service technology and software providers, modular hybrid power providers, international marketing companies, private equity funds and venture capital investors. While most of Jordan’s clients are US based, Jordan’s practice spans the entire globe advising and representing clients with headquarters or operating in Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, South America and Australia.
