The major Aramco contracts keep rolling as another strong year in Saudi Arabia rolls out

2022 has started positively in Saudi Arabia with the award of a US$2.2 billion for the Zulal offshore field to NPCC of the UAE. This follows close on the award of three EPCI contracts in late 2021 to McDermott International, Ltd for the Zuluf, Ribyan, Abu Sa’fah, and Safaniyah offshore fields.

The IKTVA 2022 conference and exhibition, held over 24 to 26 January, will offer a platform for engagement with Aramco for innovative businesses in the international supply chain and is anticipated to stimulate a new push towards localisation-driven joint ventures with local players.

The International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) will be held 21–23 February 2022 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Also hosted by Aramco, IPTC is a collaborative effort among the AAPG, EAGE (European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers), SEG and Society of Petroleum Engineers International and is a must attend event for petroleum technology providers.
