ScotWind Leasing Projects Announced by Crown Estate Scotland
Crown Estate Scotland which manages Scotland’s seabed has announced the first round of offshore wind leasing in Scottish waters for more than a decade. This will enable innovative offshore renewables to build the next generation of offshore windfarm.
It’s estimates that the total investment in these projects – known as the ScotWind leasing projects – may exceed £8billion, and that they mat deliver enough green energy to power every Scottish household.
