Scotland – A Trading Nation
The Scottish Government has launched an export strategy entitled ‘Scotland – A Trading Nation’ which sets out plans for growing Scotland’s exports to add around £3.5 billion to GDP and create 17,500 more jobs.
The strategy sets the direction on how best to grow Scotland’s exports and how to best focus resources and policies to deliver that growth. It uses data driven analysis and market intelligence to identify the priority sectors, markets and types of businesses most likely to deliver export growth.
