Very much enjoyed catching up with ex-Wood colleague, Bert Whalley, in #AlKhobar this week to discuss the #Saudi market for pressure control technology. Bert is now Middle East Regional Manager for Cactus Wellhead. With #Aramco latest annual profits at US$161 billion and 2023 capex anticipated at US$50 billion, Saudi is the leading opportunities “here today” territory for advanced energy technology suppliers.

EIC (Energy Industries Council)’s Opportunities with Saipem event in Al Khobar last Monday was an excellent opportunity to network with contacts - it was great to catch up with Robbie Pond from the GlobalScot network. Robbie is now leading Zahid Group - Saudi Arabia ’s @CORE Solutions for Petroleum Products Services division.
