London Calling as Ocean Technology ExCels
Hugh Fraser International was pleased to attend Day 1 of Oceanology International 2024 today at the ExCel Conference Centre in London, led by Sally Reeves, our Client Relations Manager in her home city.
The event has come a long way since its inauguration in Brighton in 1969 with over 400 companies exhibiting the leading-edge surface and subsea technologies, dominated by European and North American companies.
Highlights included 22 companies participating at the Future Tech Hub and it was great to connect with Norway’s Miros Group. Miros specializes in measuring ocean insights, enhancing data-driven situational awareness for ocean surface and environmental monitoring providing improved safety and efficiency, through advanced sensor technology applied intelligence, data analytics and expert support. Miros pioneered and continuously refines the future of ocean insight measurements and has been a trusted provider of reliable ocean surface measurements for almost 40 years.
Ashtead Technology goes from strength to strength, and with ACE Winches now on board after November’s acquisition, the company recently hosted a Technology Showcase in Abu Dhabi in the UAE as part of its Middle East expansion.
Sally was also delighted to connect with the Global Underwater Hub team, which is also covering AOG Energy 2024, and The SUT - Society for Underwater Technology which is led by Adrian Phillips in the Middle East. AOG 2024 launches on Wednesday in Perth
