Location, Location, Location – HFI Supports Flowline on New DMCC Base
HFI Consulting International has supported oil and gas supply chain firm Flowline Specialists in the successful relocation to a new base in the Middle East.
Flowline Specialists had initially set its sights on the JAFZA free zone in Dubai, but HFI worked alongside the firm to restructure and relocate its Middle East subsidiary to the DMCC free zone.
HFI provided a full legal and business consultancy service to Flowline Specialists, advising on company structure and creating a road map on each critical component to establish the venture.
Managing partner Hugh Fraser said: “Flowline Specialists are an excellent example of a company that has seized opportunities to diversify away from its traditional markets.
“The oil and gas sector has been the main customer of its cable and pipe handling equipment, but in recent years Flowline Specialists has capitalised on a growing interest from renewables.
“The firm had already achieved consistent growth domestically in the UK and had set up European operational centres, but a growing demand from customers in the Middle East meant that further expansion into this region was inevitable.
“We are pleased to have worked alongside Flowline Specialists in reviewing plans for a JAFZA base and then working through a relocating to provide a presence in the DMCC free zone.”
