Lee Energy international expansion steps up with Paisley intervention

It was pleasure to be in contact with Paul Lee, CEO Martin Paisley, Vice President, Middle East / Asia Pacific for Lee Energy Systems Inc (LES) recently. Martin is leading LES’s international expansion plans and is a long standing and trusted connection at HFI who has a highly respected background and track record in the downhole tools and technology space.

LES has operations and agents in Canada, USA, Europe, Middle East, and Asia Pacific providing onshore and offshore operations. LES offers a suite of down hole tools for the upstream cased and open hole completion, stimulation and abandonment market. By providing the energy industry with explosive-free more efficient tools, LES improves the safety of workers, reduce overall ecological impact, and reduces overall operational costs.

Their hydraulic-based stimulation and completion tools and assemblies can ship anywhere around the world and operate under the harshest conditions.

One of the LES key target markets is Saudi. KSA remains one of the most prospective global energy markets in the period to 2030 with US$222 billion of energy projects being tracked by the Energy Industries Council (EIC) Datastream.

HFI was delighted to launch the updated Q1 2025 edition of our Saudi Arabia Ventures Initiative (SAVI) eGuidebook last month ahead of the EIC KSA Connect 2025 being held on 18 February in Dammam. HFI is pleased to be sponsoring the event along with our local network partners AlSuwaiket and AlBusaiyes Co.

We are privileged to work with our local law network partner Dr Bader AlBusaiyes, FCIArb on Saudi Arabia ventures, and 2025 marks 6 years of our collaboration arrangements and my sincere thanks go out to Dr Bader and his team.

Hugh Fraser International is keen to play a key role in supporting clients’ business growth opportunities in the Middle East  – routes to growth include acquisitions, local partner ventures, in region group structures, technology supply and technical services contracts (TSTSCs) and in-region manufacturing ventures (IMVs), with advanced energy technology licensing and local manufacturing, procurement, employment and training being a growing policy objective in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar and Oman.
