Q1 2025 eNewsbook
A warm welcome to HFI’s Q1 2025 eNewsbook. Please click here for the interactive flipbook, and here for the static PDF version.
It is a pleasure to feature some of our key clients and connections in this first quarter eNewsbook – Interocean, Brimmond, Tekmar, Starn Group, Global CCS, Lee Energy Systems and Apollo Engineering.
HFI was delighted this quarter to launch the updated Q1 2025 edition of our Saudi Arabia Ventures Initiative (SAVI) eGuidebook. The scale of the Saudi opportunities was brought into focus with the news that Saudi Aramco’s capex reached US$53 billion in 2024 and 2025 capital investment guidance stands at US$52 billion to US$58 billion. Please contact Sally Reeves to obtain a copy of the SAVI eGuidebook.
Across the GCC, the EIC DataStream project database is now tracking 519 energy projects with a total value of US$765bn in the period to 2030 underlining the scale of the energy sector opportunities in the Middle East.
With Ramadan now upon us, energy sector opportunities are being showcased during a series of important events outside the Middle East with these following events of note - the Energy Exchange Australia, 11-13 March in Perth, SPE Canada Energy Technology, 12-13 March in Calgary and SPE/ICOTA Well Intervention, 25-26 March in Woodlands, Texas. Following on from Ramadan and Eid, key events coming up in the Middle East are Middle East Energy 7-9 April, GOTECH 7-9 May, both in Dubai and OPES 11-14 May and Oman Sustainability Week 12-15 May, both in Muscat.
HFI is keen to play a key role in supporting clients’ business growth opportunities in the Middle East energy transition – routes to growth include acquisitions, local partner ventures, in region group structures, technology supply and technical services contracts (TSTSCs) and in-region manufacturing ventures (IMVs), with advanced energy technology licensing and local manufacturing, procurement, employment and training being a growing policy objective in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Oman.
