Hugh Fraser International’s focus on net zero opportunities in the Middle East had focussed this week on the Middle East Energy 2022 conference and exhibition in Dubai – key topics being covered are solar technology, green hydrogen, energy storage and energy efficiency. This is the second of three key clean energy power technology events in the UAE, following on from the World Future Energy Summit 2022 in January and preceding the World Utilities Congress 2022 in May.

I am also delighted to be participating in the Scottish Hydrogen Day at Expo 2022 in Dubai in 2020 led by Scottish Development International’s Murray Bainbridge and James Keating, during which a cluster of hydrogen-focussed Scottish technology companies will be showcasing their services and products.

This will be preceded by the Energy Industries Council GCC Project and Market Update on 15 March led by Ryan McPherson and Neil Golding.
