Global Underwater Hub dives into ADIPEC
HFI is delighted to note the participation of Global Underwater Hub (GUH) at ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference 2024. GUH is headquartered in Aberdeen and represents the diverse range of businesses operating in the UK’s £8 billion underwater industry: it facilitates cross-collaboration and growth across the underwater industry, which comprises offshore energy, aquaculture, defence, telecoms and subsea minerals.
Key members include leading industry players such as ROVOP, Proserv, Tekmar Energy, STATS Group, Brimmond, Xodus and the Society of Underwater Technology (SUT).
SUT has announced its “Offshore and Wind Perspective on Managing Subsea Power Systems” event as part of ADIPEC 2024. The event will feature GUH’s expertise on subsea cables as part of the ADIPEC Marine & Logistics Innovation sessions at Hall 15 - Tuesday 5th November 1430-1600.
Subsea cables are widely deployed in the Middle East and a critical part of the national infrastructure for power and communications as well as playing a key role in offshore electrification goals. To book the SUT event please click this link.
HFI will be present for the whole of ADIPEC 2024 week and we are looking forward to catching up with clients and connections. We extend a warm welcome to the GlobalScot network members who will be attending and would encourage them to make contact. The GlobalScot network which now comprises 1250 members around the world provide their experience, expertise and connections to support Scottish companies towards success in export markets and to attract inward investment into Scotland. GUH has presented to GlobalScot network members as part of its preparations for ADIPEC 2024.
We wish the team at GUH every success at ADIPEC 2024 and note the key date for the diary looking forwards of Subsea Expo 2025 in Aberdeen on 18 - 20 February.
