Great start to ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference 2023 - with thanks to OGV Energy for hosting the opening breakfast, for EIC (Energy Industries Council) for their GCC energy market update and Global CCS Institute for their members update.

EIC who are hosting the UK and Scottish pavilions are now tracking US$660bn of energy projects in the GCC countries, of which a third is in the UAE and a third in Saudi Arabia - a massive opportunity led by the projected US$50bn capex programme of Saudi Aramco scheduled in 2024.

The main theme for ADIPEC 2023 is accelerating the decarbonisation of the petroleum sector and the Global CCS Institute has published its Q3 update on the rollout of CCS projects around the globe.
