Dynamic Air Shelters showcases in Ras Laffan Industrial City in Qatar

It was great to catch up with Colin Maver in Aberdeen. Colin is a long-standing connection and is CEO to the Starn Group from 2023. Previously Colin held roles as Managing Director at R&M Engineering (Huntly) Ltd. and Director of Dron & Dickson.

The Starn Group is a private equity-backed group of businesses focused on safety and delivering economic benefit to its customers. It achieves this with a portfolio of technology-led products and services engineered to protect people working in hazardous environments including offshore and onshore oil and gas production facilities, shipping and other marine assets, chemical processing plants, distilleries and food production and processing factories, utilities and water treatment works. These businesses currently comprise Safehouse Habitats Ltd., Sabre Safety, and Dynamic Air Shelters.

One of Starn’s key territories in the MENA region is Qatar.  The Energy Industries Council (EIC) is currently tracking US$109bn of Qatar energy projects for the period 2024 – 2030:-

Oil & Gas – 28 projects - USD$83.6bn
Power (Power & T&D) – 2 projects - USD$4.2bn
Clean Energy (Renewables, Hydrogen, CCS, Energy Storage, Energy from Waste, Geothermal etc) – 8 projects - USD$20.9bn

Dynamic Air Shelters will be exhibiting at Doha Petroleum Construction Co. W.L.L (DOPET) on the 26 January — 13 February 2025 in Ras Laffan Industrial City, Qatar. Dynamic will be showcasing Dynamic air shelters, the premier solutions‐based protective structures for workers and equipment in harsh environments.  You can find more information on Dynamic’s website
