COP28 – SunGreenH2 paves way to affordable Green Hydrogen

HFI was delighted to meet this week with Tulika Raj, CEO and Tim Rockell, SVP Business Development with SunGreenH2 at Herriot-Watt University Climate Hub exhibition. SunGreenH2’s ground-breaking technology allows affordable green hydrogen to be used for wide scale adoption.

Hydrogen, and particularly, green hydrogen, is currently more expensive than natural gas due to lack of production and supply constraints. Most of it is due to a shortage of electrolysers – devices that use electricity to split water into hydrogen and oxygen.

Singapore based SunGreenH2 is transforming green hydrogen production by building the world’s highest performance electrolysers using their platform technology to incorporate proprietary advanced nanostructured materials into electrolyser components.  SunGreenH2 manufactures core components for electrolyser cells, stacks and systems, enabling their customers to produce affordable green hydrogen. Electrolysers made with their materials increase production and decrease energy consumption without using expensive platinum group metals. SunGreenH2 technology is unlocking sustainable, scalable on-site green hydrogen production for industry that is affordable and at scale.
